This is an enhanced listing of the 125 current merit badges offered by the BSA. Geocaching, Inventing, Scouting Heritage and Scuba Diving were added in 2010. Bugling will be discontinued after 2010 and incorporated into Music. In addition, for the Centennial year, 4 old discontinued merit badges from 1910-11 are being offered this year only.
